The 32nd Annual 10,000 Meter Sycamore Pumpkin Road Race, USATF sanctioned and certified course, and named a 2009 Best of Chicagoland Race by CARA (Chicago Area Runner's Association), will be held Sunday, October 31, 2010. Gun goes off at 9:35 a.m. at the park just East of the National Guard Armory on Route 64 in Sycamore. The race is timed  via ChronoTrack B-tag timing. 

Preregistered runners will receive a long sleeve race shirt and refreshments following the race. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers, each of the first three finishers in thirteen age divisions, and the first Sycamore male and female finishers.

The Sycamore Pumpkin Run 10K Road race is heading into its 32nd year! The 10K is held during Sycamore Illinois' world famous Pumpkin Festival. This race has become a staple in both the festival schedule and the Northern Illinois race schedule.

In 2009 there were over 1,200 participants running this competitive race. Runners came from all across Northern Illinois to participate in the Sycamore Pumpkin Run 10K Road Race.

People who enjoy running 10k races in Northern Illinois should not miss  the Sycamore Pumpkin Run 10K.

The Sycamore Pumpkin Run 10k has had running beginners of all ages as well as advanced runners. Our participants enjoy running all across Northern Illinois as well as running in the Midwest region.

Runners are always in for a special treat with the annual Pumpkin Festival Parade starting at 1pm.
